Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Manchester (4 days a week in the office)

Our client is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to manage general ledger accounting, provide financial information, and implement controls for their UK and some European entities. This role also involves assisting with the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning system.

Responsibilities:

Complete month-end accounts and reconciliations
Ensure control and understanding of balance sheet accounts
Reconcile banks, prepayments, accruals, and payroll
Lead the migration of reconciliations onto Blackline
Support finance transitioning and liquidation of inactive companies
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:

Ideally post-qualified experience in Accounting and Finance
Proficient in drawing up all accounts of the nominal ledger for an entire company
Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud
Knowledge of UK and US GAAP reporting
Strong Excel skills
