An organisation that works on railway electrification projects requires a Hire Desk Controller on a permanent basis.

The role:

* Process orders for hire, maintaining appropriate records and paperwork / database

* Liaise with teams to ensure accurate information

* Maintain strong relationship with customers

* Resolve queries and issues promptly

* Coordinate the entire process - order, data recording, quotes, delivery

* Prepare invoices and reports

* Ensure teams receive the equipment they need at the best possible price

* Take care of cross hires and off hires

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a plant hire role

* Syrinx database experience (desirable)

* Attention to detail

* Excellent communication

* Self-motivated and organised
