About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our close-knit team from September 2024. This full-time role has opened up due to the expansion of our staff as we continue to grow and cater to the diverse needs of our student body. You'll be leading a class of 25 bright and eager students, in a school that encourages innovative teaching methods and supports professional growth. You'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a well-resourced classroom, enabling you to deliver engaging and dynamic lessons. With the school's focus on professional development, you'll be encouraged to further your career and refine your skills in a setting that values creativity and forward-thinking.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching at KS1 level.
• A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young students.
• Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both with students and parents, as well as a collaborative mindset to work effectively with colleagues.
• A proactive approach to developing and implementing creative teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students.
• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing regular feedback to both students and parents.
• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and develop the curriculum.
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Participating in school events, parent meetings, and extracurricular activities that contribute to the school community.
