Job Advert: Warehouse Administrator (Temporary)

Location: Pease Pottage, Crawley
Hourly Pay: £12.50
Days of Work: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Administrator with a background in stock control to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of managing purchasing and procurement processes and maintaining effective stock control.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing Purchasing and Procurement Processes: Oversee the purchasing and procurement cycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods.

* Supplier Management: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of items and resolve any issues that may arise.

* Day-to-Day Requests: Handle daily requests and queries, ensuring quick response time to user requests.

* Coordinating Supplies: Ensuring the best price and effective delivery timescales are achieved.

* Effective Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage inventory records, including monthly stock take of high-cost items.

* Delivery Management: Ensure items are delivered as per the agreed purchase orders and maintain records of deliveries.

Experience and Qualifications:

* Proficiency in MS Office.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Good organisational skills.

* Experience of working to tight timescales.

* Previous healthcare experience or clinical background is advantageous.

* Previous purchasing experience is desirable.
