For the successful Transformer Services Lead Engineer our client is offering:

£18.93 p/hour + overtime (approx. £60,000 with overtime rate)
Hours of Work Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:15, Friday 07:30 - 12:00 
Permanent 
25 Days holiday per year

Travel paid from home

The role - Transformer Services Lead Engineer :

In-house fitting and assembly of various types of distribution and power transformers
Assist the Project Manager with support both in the factory and onsite
Lead a team of engineers in the field for the provision of transformer installations and maintenance
Fitting, painting, testing, wiring and many other tasks related to the installation of transformers
What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer :

Hands-on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment - ESSENTIAL
Team Management / Leadership experience - ESSENTIAL
Testing knowledge of either Transformers and/or switchgear - ESSENTIAL
HNC or equivalent - DESIREABLE
Full Driver License - ESSENTIAL 
Any site based qualifications like: PASMA, IPAF - DESIREABLE
Mechanical/Electrical qualification is essential - ESSENTIAL 
Must be willing to work away from home 
Key skills or similar Job titles: Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Transformer Engineer, Generator Engineer
