Job Description Baxterstorey is seeking a dedicated and efficient General Assistant to join our team in Westhill, United Kingdom. As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting various departments and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our organisation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document management
- Support team members with various projects and daily operations as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails, directing them to appropriate departments
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Perform basic financial tasks such as processing invoices and expense reports
- Coordinate meetings and manage calendars as required
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications - Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanour
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite
- Effective time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to learn new skills
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a supportive work atmosphere
