Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a leading waste management service to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor predominately for its Pilsworth site, to lead a small team of operations technicians, providing routine and non- routine maintenance.

The Maintenance Supervisor comes with a salary up to £55,000 company benefits and excellent training and development.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:

Lead and manage a team of operations technicians, providing area routine and non- routine maintenance on powergen equipment.
To complete in-frame rebuilds (routine/non-routine) and de-cokes of different equipment.
To schedule operations technician 24/7 on call service.
Ensure maintenance work is carried out to the highest standard.
Provide troubleshooting and hands-on technical support to operations technicians.
Operation of assets and completed assigned work.
Ensure all records are kept up to date, in line with company policies and procedures.
Work with site management to deliver H&S compliance.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

City & Guilds (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering
2 years minimum experience of similar position
Full UK driving license

Personal skills

The Maintenance Supervisor would suit someone who is:

Self motivated
Supervisory experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
High level of attention to detail

Salary between £50,000-£55,000
