About the Role:

• Position: SEN Teacher (Moderate)
• Location: South East London
• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with moderate SEN
• Develop individualised education plans that target specific learning goals and provide appropriate support strategies
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes self-esteem and confidence in students
• Work closely with support staff, parents and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each child
• Implement behaviour management strategies to foster a safe and conducive learning environment

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status or relevant SEN teaching experience
• Experience working with students with moderate learning needs, including ASD, dyslexia and other related conditions
• Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents
• A patient, compassionate and adaptable approach to teaching
