Job Title: Lecturer in Engineering

Location: Hemel Hempstead, London

Job Description:

Protocol are working with a Further Education College based in Hemel Hempstead, who are seeking a qualified teacher to join their teaching team and deliver Level 3 T-Levels in Maintenance, Installation, and Design and Development. This includes Core Engineering subjects such as Maths, Science, General Engineering, Electronics and Mechatronics, and specialist delivery in project design and development, CAD and prototyping, and Electric vehicle technology.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

Qualified teacher (PGCE, QTS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification required)
Excellent communication skills
BTEC L1-L3 and T Level in Design and Development
Confidence in using a practical workshop
Desirable Criteria:

Experience of working in a FE College setting
Experience of working in an educational establishment

Working Hours:

36 hours per week (1 FTE) 
Timetable to be confirmed

Start Date: September 2024

Contract Duration: Temp Ongoing
