Location: West Midlands (Hybrid – 1 to 2 days a week in the office)

Xpertise are excited to be working with a well-respected professional services organisation, helping them source an experienced IT professional for a newly formed role within their Solutions Development & Delivery team. This role is responsible for ensuring successful release deployment and transition process to BAU across the service lifecycle.

I’m looking to speak and meet with individuals who have experience working with ITIL processes for release and change management or project management experience. The right candidate must also have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Technical Change team and continuous improvement within the team/release process
  • Managing the release deployment and service transition process to BAU
  • Own the release policy, plan, schedule, scope and resources
  • Ensure that the release objectives align with the businesses and customer’s needs
  • Managing the service transition processes with the support from the technical change team
  • Ensuring the statuses in Azure ADO are correct prior to release
  • Liaising with business stakeholders, development teams, 3rd parties and clients

Experience required:

  • 3+ years experience of ITIL processes for release and change management or project management
  • Experience of DevOps or similar collaboration tools to deliver releases
  • Strong understanding of the full SDLC and release management principles
  • Effective leadership and mentorship skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working within the professional services sector ideal but not essential
