As a Commis Chef in the Events Kitchen at Sea Containers London Hotel, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes for our events. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, has a keen interest in culinary arts, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in accordance with the standards set by the Head Chef.

• Work across various sections of the kitchen, gaining experience in different aspects of food preparation and service.

• Ensure that all food is prepared and stored in accordance with health and safety regulations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

• Assist with stock control and inventory management, ensuring ingredients are used efficiently and waste is minimized.

• Follow recipes and presentation specifications as directed by senior chefs.

• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your culinary skills and knowledge.

• Support the kitchen team in ensuring the smooth running of operations during events.

Salary: £28,050.44 p/a plus tronc
