First People Solutions are recruiting for a Site Agent to join our client's growing Civils division. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative £5.4bn framework aimed at modernising Scotland's electricity grid infrastructure.

Based out of their Glasgow office, this role will involve managing projects across the central belt region.

We are looking for experienced professionals with a proven track record of managing projects for Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) in a fast-paced project and maintenance environment. As a Site Agent, you will take responsibility for delivering a variety of multi-disciplinary civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily management and delivery of engineering projects
Ensure compliance with:
Relevant legislation.
Contract terms and conditions.
Health and Safety Plans.
Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and Quality/Environmental Plans.
Monitor progress to ensure projects meet programme schedules and budget constraints.We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

Previous experience as a Site Agent (or Sub Agent level) within civil engineering. Experience in power or energy projects would be beneficial
SPEN Authorisations in line with the 5th Edition Safety Rules.
Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
