Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Consultant Psychologist/Head of Psychology for a forensic service in North Yorkshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be leading a medium secure service who are working towards developing trauma informed care. This hospital have 7 wards hosting service users who present with ASD, learning disabilities, personality disorder an complex mental illness. The post holder will also hold a small clinical caseload delivering EMDR, CBT, DBT and CAT therapy.

Contract type - permanent

Hours - both part time and full time is being considered

Salary - £78,250 - £ 81,500 FTE

Experience required:

Due to the seniority of this role, Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist along extensive experience working and leading within forensic services. Senior management experience is required.
