The main purpose of the role is to develop, deploy and maintain the Operational Excellence Framework including the strategic project programme for the site. This is a core leadership role as part of the senior leadership team, which is fundamental in providing leadership and support to develop high-performing teams, whilst driving delivery and continuous improvement through effective management and controls.

In your first few weeks in this Operational Excellence Manager role, you can expect to:

• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance
• Ensure the appropriate focus is placed on behavioural safety
• Identify, manage and eradicate risks concerning HSE
• Develop, deploy and maintain the Operational excellence Framework for the site, including Employee Participation and Engagement strategies
• Perform regular 5s Audits/events to improve productivity and work place organisation.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing leadership role
• Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Kaizen, lean manufacturing methodology 
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP systems experience) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Office.
