The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

I am recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-resourced and supportive SEN school in Hackney. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with ASD and additional learning needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with special needs, a patient and flexible approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with both students and staff. The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have an understanding of ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and related needs, previous SEN experience in a SEN or mainstream school setting, a calm, resilient, and compassionate nature.
