The role - SEN Teacher

I am working with a SEN school based in Hounslow that are looking for a new SEN Teacher to start in January. In this role you will take on general Teaching duties and lead and develop teams and deploy teaching assistant to support learning, therapy and care needs. You must maintain the classrooms and other learning environments and ensure these are organised to meet students needs. In this SEN Teacher role, you must record assessments appropriately and collect evidence of progress made using the schools' systems. You will liaise with the multi professional teams in respect of the education of the students, to ensure that therapy programmes are incorporated into teaching and carried out as required.

The school - SEN School

This school is based in Hounslow and caters for students aged 19 - 24 with moderate, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties or autism. They focus on developing students Literacy, numeracy and ICT skills as well with Life Skills, they work on developing students' communication, their understanding of cause and effect, to develop meaningful relationships and to maintain their physical ability.
