Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Exeter, Devon.

We have an established and long-standing client in the Asbestos Industry who are now seeking to take on a qualified and diligent Asbestos Surveyor. You will be joining a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who have a strong presence in the South West region. You will be responsible for carrying out the full range pf surveying duties on Local Authority, Commercial, High Security, Healthcare and Educational sites ensuring to comply with HSG 264 guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer further training for the BOHS P403 & P404 qualifications.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Okehampton, Exmouth, Teignmouth, Torquay, Tavistock, Launceston, Hatherleigh, Bideford, Barnstaple, Lynton, Bampton, Barnstaple, Taunton, Bridgewater, Minehead, Ilminster, Yeovil, Shepton Mallet, Trowbridge, Weston-super-Mare, Bath, Bristol.

Experience & Qualifications:
" You must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualification.
" Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a recognised Asbestos Consultancy.
" Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" Able to communicate efficiently.
" Able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Excellent time management skills.

The Role:
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Sampling of suspected ACMs.
" Safely bagging and correctly labelling ACMs prior to sending for analysis.
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Using information from site to produce detailed site-specific reports.
