We are looking for a qualified Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) to lead one a nursery room at a wonderful setting near Putney. This is a beautiful nursery that has been designed to support creativity, exploration, and development through a wide range of engaging activities.

As a Nursery Room Leader you will oversee the day-to-day operations of your room, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safety for all children. The role involves leading and supporting a team of nursery practitioners, planning and delivering a stimulating curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The Nursery Room Leader plays a key role in monitoring children's progress, building strong relationships with parents and caregivers, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities:

Room Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations of your nursery room, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and education for children
Curriculum Planning: Develop and deliver a creative, engaging curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, tailored to the needs of each child
Team Management: Lead and support a team of nursery practitioners, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
Child Development: Monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring that individual developmental needs are met
Parent Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child's progress
Health & Safety: Ensure the nursery room is safe, clean, and complies with all health and safety regulations and safeguarding policiesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:

A Level 3 Early Years qualification
Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting, with some leadership or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early years education
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
