IBM Cognos TM1 Developer/Planning Analytics Developer

My Yorkshire based client is looking to recruit an experienced Cognos TM1 Developer to work within a busy finance team on a contract basis.
Within this role, the TM1 Developer will support the implementation of extended functionality for Group Consolidation. Working with implementation partners, you will be involved in the design, implementation and testing of the new solution, identifying improvements within the current model.

As Cognos TM1 Developer, you will:
Deliver and maintain IBM Cognos TM1/PA solutions
Work in partnership with cross functional teams and 3rd party suppliers on issue resolution, product enhancements and best practice
Collaborate with the wider Finance team to identify requirements and recommend efficiencies.
Take Responsibility for integration of TM1/PA with SAP and other information sources for the provision of Management information

Technically, the TM1 Developer will possess the following:

Experience building & maintaining Cognos TM1/PA solutions
Proven expertise in TM1 Perspectives/Architect/Workspace and development skills, including cubes, dimensions, TI processes, rules, active forms and workflows.
Knowledge of financial planning functions and related processes
An ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

Candidates with a certified accountancy background would be of specific interest as would those with experience in the design and administration of OLAP data cubes, PAX and PAW. Any direct experience of Business Intelligence and Visualisation reporting tools would be advantageous.
