Our client is a consumables company mainly supplying the Hotel Industry that delivers a diverse range of products, from decorating tools and lighting to power tools, plumbing supplies, adhesives, paint, and more. They also provide access to a vast online catalogue of over 30,000 additional products, partnering with renowned trade brands like Duracell, Bell Lighting, Euroshowers, and many others!

As a Sales Account Manager, you will engage with customers, collaborate across teams, work independently or in a group, and confidently drive sales success.

While you won't have direct people management, you will drive price incentives and promotions, supercharging the company's growth. You will collaborate closely with the MD, Operations Manager, and a dynamic Sales Team to expand your client portfolio.

This is your chance to embrace the challenge of managing an existing customer base of around 300 while setting your sights on the exciting goal of opening new accounts.

The following criteria are essential for this role

Minimum 1 year's sales experience
Proven success in achieving sales targets

Proven track record of successfully managing customers
The ability and desire to sell
Highly self-motivated and ambitious
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Positive, confident and determined approach
Excellent phone and presentation skills
The following criteria are desirable for this role

Knowledge of Sage 200
Telephone based sales environment experience
Driving licence
Good knowledge of MS Office
What will your role look like?

Prospect and qualify new sales leads
Track all sales activities in the company BMS system
Develop strong relationships with prospects and customers
Meet & exceed sales targets
Keep up to date with the company product range
Develop a sales calling plan with existing customers
Communicate customer and prospect issues to the relevant department
Co-ordinate with team and other departments to maximise sales efforts
You may be required to represent the company at trade exhibitions, and industry networking events
