We are looking for a Group Management Accountant for a growing business within the Property sector. As a Group Management Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the Group Finance Manager with the month end process including prepayments, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations and a range of duties relating to purchase ledger, sales ledger and expenses. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience working as part of a finance function, ideally studying towards a professional qualification and eager to progress. The role is office based 4-5 days per week and will offer a competitive salary, along with study support and a bonus scheme. Key responsibilities: 

• Processing AP invoices, supplier payment runs and reconciliations
• Managing Council Tax and utilities for properties under inventory
• Liaising with suppliers to manage queries both on the phone and via email 
• Sales invoicing and credit notes 
• Maintaining client account, reconciling customers funds, and arrangingrepayments
• Processing bank transactions 
• Reconciling intercompany balances and balance sheet 
• Accruals and prepayments 
• Assisting with VAT 
• Any other ad hoc finance requests as required 

Key skills: 

• A minimum of 3 years experience in Finance including exposure to AP and AR 
• Studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
• IT proficient with a good understanding of MS Excel 
• Knowledge of Xero is desirable 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage a busy work load 
• Great team player with a collaborative work approach 
• Excellent numeracy and organisational skills, withhigh attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
