A highly regarded North Leeds firm is looking for a Scottish Solicitor to join their esteemed Personal Injury team. They are passionate about providing their clients with the best possible legal advice and representation.They have an excellent track record of success in personal injury cases, and are committed to helping their clients get the compensation they deserve. Job description: They are looking for a motivated and experienced Scottish Solicitor to join their Persona Injury team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Scottish law and the personal injury process, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be reporting to the Head of Personal Injury department.  This role will be remote working with occasional travel to Scottish courts and the Leeds Head Office.  The role will involve:

• Advising clients on their legal rights and options following a personal injury
• Managing a full and varied caseload on minimal supervision 
• Preparing and managing claims on behalf of clients
• Negotiating settlements with insurers
• Representing clients in court
• Assisting with Business Development

 Qualifications and experience:

• Qualified Scottish solicitor
• 2+ years’ experience in personal injury law
• Experience of appearing in court
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in Scottish Personal Injury law, inclusive of RTA, Credit Hire, EL and Clinical negligence.
• Good understanding of credit/debt hire controls
• Use of Proclaim
