The Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an organised, detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance team in Macclesfield. This role is essential to maintaining smooth financial operations, from managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensuring accurate revenue recognition and system reconciliation. You will be responsible for key financial functions, including managing supplier invoices, cash receipts, reconciliations, and monthly financial closings, while supporting the Credit Control team to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.

What You'll Do:

  • Process and manage AP and AR transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Perform revenue recognition and reconcile sales data from HubSpot with financial records.
  • Handle monthly closings, payroll preparations, and support audit processes.
  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to ensure accurate data integration.

About You:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or as an Accounts Assistant.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Strong Excel skills and solid knowledge of accounting principles.
  • A team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • AAT qualification or relevant experience is a plus.
