Internal Logistics Coordinator

Location: Aberdeen

We are seeking an experienced Internal Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our logistics department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

Booking Courier Collections and Special Deliveries:Coordinate courier collections and special deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.Daily Goods Check:Regularly review the goods-to-be-shipped folder to verify that items are leaving on schedule.Customer Communication:Contact customers upon order completion, providing details such as weights, dimensions, and commercial invoices.Returns Processing:Handle returns efficiently through coordination with stores.Goods Receiving:Book in goods received from suppliers promptly.Timely Shipment Verification:Conduct general checks to ensure goods are being shipped on time.Additional Logistical Paperwork:Assist with any other logistical paperwork required by stores or the sales team.Customs Experience:While prior experience with export/import procedures is advantageous, full training will be provided.

Requirements:

Proven experience in logistics coordination.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication abilities.Familiarity with customs procedures (preferred).Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
