Role Overview - Cell Leader

Our leading client within the manufacturing industry are looking for a Cell Leader to join their team at their state-of-the-art facility in the Lincoln area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the managing and planning for the production team spread across multiple shifts.

Key Responsibilities - Cell Leader

Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment. Serve as a lead member of the fire/spillage team.
Direct and focus the efforts of the production team to meet internal and external customer requirements efficiently, achieving departmental and business targets.
Ensure manufactured products meet specifications and are handled correctly to avoid additional unplanned operations.
Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
Implement timely countermeasures for deviations to plans.
Reviewing KPIs to improve productivity and efficiency proactively.
Lead department meetings, continuous improvement activities, and manage priority production orders through daily meetings with the production team.
Take a lead role outside office hours and in the absence of the department manager.
Identify necessary human and material resources to meet departmental and business objectives.
Key Qualifications & Experience - Cell Leader

NVQ or higher in Engineering Manufacture or equivalent / Advanced Modern Apprenticeship.
Project management qualification/experience.
Experience managing teams within a manufacturing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication
Target-oriented with excellent man-management skills
Focused on quality and health and safety.
Forward-thinking with strong organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
