Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, Pro-rata

Our client based in Taunton is seeking a Part Time HR Administrator to provide support to the team. The role is 22.5 hours per week 8.30am to 4.30pm with ½ hour for lunch (3 days) - Please note there is flexibility on the days. - 28000 pro rata. This is a Fixed Term Contract (up to 12 months) Starting w/c 11th November ideally. Part Time HR Administrator Key responsibilities

  • Preparing Recruitment brochure for job adverts using InDesign and PDF (in liaison with the Marketing Department) and sending out job packs when required
  • Placing job adverts on the website and other sites.
  • Assist with safeguarding checks and preparing Induction packs & Safeguard/Child Protection paperwork for all new employees in a timely manner.
  • Prepare standard Contracts of Employment in a timely manner - sending via Adobe DocuSign where possible, setting up personnel files and entering new staff on HR database (WCBS PASS).
  • Record keeping including updating staff records, Inputting annual leave, sickness absence forms, when required.
  • Note taking of personnel meetings.
  • Limited diary management.
  • Receiving HR telephone calls and filtering where appropriate.
  • Filing as required and other general tasks as required from time to time.
  • Preparing/issuing standard references for interviews and keeping track on them; chasing and verifying the successful candidates by telephone asap, when required.
  • Preparing/issuing standard interview letters and unsuccessful letters, when required.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent)
  • Administrative qualification (or equivalent) or CIPD Level 3 Certificate in Human Resources (or equivalent) would be beneficial

Part Time HR Administrator Skills and experience

  • An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong administrative/secretarial background
  • Mail merging letters
  • Note taking and typing skills
  • Able to manage own time and prioritise effectively environment
  • Use of WCBS PASS and/or iSAMS databases
  • Knowledge/use of InDesign and Adobe pdf
  • Payroll knowledge/experience
  • Previous experience within an educational environment
