A skilled Engineer with a meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to timely delivery is required to join a West Midlands based developer.

What does the role involve?

Supporting our Engineering Manager across multiple developments the right engineer will collaborate closely with senior team members to gain relevant experience in daily duties. They will control and coordinate engineering information between external consultants and internal departments, ensuring all drawings are accurate, correct, and commercially suitable. Additionally, they will secure technical approvals for s38 and 104 agreements and liaise with consultants to meet deadlines.

The role involves applying for and securing statutory body approvals for Engineering Design and Ground Remediation. The Engineer will attend site visits and meetings to address any construction issues, participate in design meetings with highways and drainage departments to meet council requirements for new developments, and provide technical support to on-site teams.

What Experience do you need?

You should have experience in volume house building or consultancy roles, with AutoCAD skills being desirable.
A degree or HNC/HND in Construction or Engineering, a CSCS card, and a full UK driving licence are required.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication, listening, and presentation skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
They should be methodical, organized, and able to maintain high standards while managing and motivating a team.
Proficiency in problem-solving, working under pressure, and IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office, is essential.
A commitment to diversity and inclusion is also important.This position is primarily office-based with regular travel to development sites and meetings..
