GSL Education is seeking an innovative and compassionate Transition Teacher to join a welcoming school in Thanet. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that students who require additional support in Key Stage 3 subjects can catch up and thrive in their studies.

As a Transition Teacher, you will:

Support students in building a strong foundation in English, Maths, and other key subjects.
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of individual learners.
Collaborate with subject teachers to align intervention strategies with the curriculum.
Identify learning gaps and implement creative solutions to effectively close them.
Foster a nurturing and encouraging environment that motivates students to excel.
We are looking for a Transition Teacher who has:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience working with students in Key Stage 3 or in a similar intervention role.
Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths, with the ability to support additional subjects.
A patient, proactive, and adaptable teaching style to engage students of varying abilities.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for a new one.
