About the role:

We are excited to invite an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs to join our team. In this role, you'll support students from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing targeted assistance tailored to their unique challenges. Your days will be varied and rewarding, offering small group interventions and one-on-one guidance to help students develop not only academically but also socially and emotionally. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine impact on students' lives, working alongside a team that shares a passion for inclusive, child-centered education.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant experience supporting students with SEMH or similar SEN needs.
• A strong understanding of emotional and behavioral strategies for primary-aged children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored SEMH support to students in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCo to design and implement individualised strategies.
• Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning, focusing on their social and emotional development.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting support plans as needed.
• Actively contribute to the positive school culture and values, promoting inclusion and respect.
