Key Responsibilities:

* Liaise with key colleagues to forecast levels of demand for services and products, ensuring timely procurement to meet business needs.

* Maintain a constant check on stock levels to optimise inventory management.

* Identify potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and establish strong working relationships.

* Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.

* Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.

* Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.

* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure materials and services are procured in line with project requirements and timelines.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies in all procurement activities.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Buyer, preferably within the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) sector.

* Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and inventory control.

* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to analyse market trends and make informed purchasing decisions.

* Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
