About the role:

Join our dynamic team as a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) in Brent, London. Due to an increase in student enrollment and a commitment to providing tailored support, we are seeking a dedicated individual to support students in Key Stage 2, particularly in boosters and interventions, with a focus on Special Educational Needs.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant Experience:

A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in Key Stage 2 or with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students.

• Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively liaising with students, teachers, and parents, as well as conveying instructions and providing feedback.

• Patience and Empathy:

The ability to demonstrate patience and empathy when working with students of varying abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), is crucial for fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

• Teamwork:

Strong teamwork skills are essential for collaborating with teachers, fellow Teaching Assistants, and other stakeholders to support student learning and development effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learning Support: Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and provide individualized support .

• Intervention Implementation: Conduct targeted interventions in English, Mathematics, and Science to help students overcome learning barriers.

• Collaboration: Work closely with staff to develop and implement individualised education plans for SEN students, monitoring progress and adjusting support strategies.
