Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Truck Engineer to join our clients team in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing forklift trucks and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.

* Carry out servicing, repairs, and safety checks in compliance with industry standards.

* Keep accurate records of all work completed, including parts used and repairs undertaken.

* Respond promptly to customer service requests, ensuring minimal downtime for their operations.

* Work independently or as part of a team to complete jobs on time and within set deadlines.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Previous experience as a Forklift Truck Engineer or similar role is essential.

* Strong mechanical and electrical skills.

* Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* A full UK driving license is required, as a company van will be provided.

Benefits:

* £36,000 basic salary with opportunities for overtime at higher rates.

* Company van provided for business use with D2D pay.

* Regular working hours, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

* Overtime opportunities available for those looking to earn extra income.
