Responsibilities:

• To assist the client manager with a portfolio of limited company clients
• Raise and enter invoices- purchase and sales ledger duties
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Prepare and submit VAT Returns including liaising with clients with queries
• Prepare and post journals for payroll, prepayments, accruals and fixed assets
• Build strong lasting relationships with a variety of clients and provide advice and recommendations to the client manager
• Suggest any improvements for bookkeeping processes

Experience required:

• At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar position
• Experience working in an Accountancy practice
• Ability to manage your own time, clients and workload
• Experience using Xero, Quickbooks, or Sage
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
