We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as a 1:1 Special Needs Teaching Assistant at a special needs school in Tonbridge. No prior experience is required - we are seeking individuals with a genuine desire to support students with special educational needs and to help them thrive in their learning environment.

As a 1:1 Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a specific student, providing tailored support to meet their unique needs. You will help them with academic tasks and emotional development, all while fostering a positive and supportive relationship that encourages independence and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated, one-on-one support to a student with special educational needs
Assist the student with classroom activities, ensuring they are engaged and can access the curriculum at their pace
Offer emotional and behavioural support, building trust and confidence
Help with mobility needs as required, ensuring the student's comfort and well-being
Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a safe and inclusive environment for the studentThe most important qualities we are looking for are kindness, patience, and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
