The role

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing product quality, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and driving continuous improvement. You'll work closely with engineering, production teams, customers, and suppliers to address quality-related issues, including:

* Reviewing in-house and supplier quality procedures

* Conducting and supporting quality investigations

* Compiling and reviewing Manufacturing Quality Plans (MQPs)

* Inspecting in-house and third-party supplied products

* Compiling and maintaining formal lifetime quality records for customer approval

* Resolving customer concerns using root cause analysis tools like 8D

* Managing non-conformance reports (NCRs)

* Developing and improving production standards, testing protocols, and compliance measures

* Testing sinks and taps to ensure compliance with required standards

* Arranging third-party inspections as required by MQPs

* Supporting lean manufacturing initiatives and waste reduction projects

To excel in this role, you'll need:

* A deep knowledge and understanding of ISO9001 & auditing

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

* Familiarity with British Standards and experience in a QA/QC environment

* The ability to write and present reports to stakeholders

* A full UK driving license
