About the Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Teach Now is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic and inclusive primary school in Hackney. This full-time, long-term role involves supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering lessons, and leading small group interventions to help students thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):

• Deliver lessons in the absence of the teacher.

• Support individual students and small groups to boost progress.

• Assist in planning, preparation, and resource creation.

• Lead intervention groups and support children with additional needs.

• Promote positive behaviour management and a safe learning environment.

Application Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience.

• Experience in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
