Our client is looking for someone like you to join their family. As a pivotal member of their Quality Assurance (QA) team, you will help to meet and exceed customer expectations, ensuring sustained success and customer confidence.

About the Job:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary focus will be on maintaining and enhancing the quality of our products and processes. You will:
* Ensure Excellence: Meet customer-specific requirements and uphold product specifications.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SoP) and Quality Acceptance Standards (QAS) across the business.
* Promote a Quality Culture: Work across all teams to instill a quality-first mindset.
* Training & Communication: Guide process owners in understanding and applying quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
* Incident Investigation: Collaborate with operations to investigate incidents, manage non-conformances, and communicate product recalls.
* Quality Audits & Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with QA procedures and standards, providing feedback and coaching to production teams.
* Support & Leadership: Lead and support QA initiatives, especially during the absence of the Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and generate SoP and QAS documentation.
* Conduct process confirmation audits and investigations.
* Act as QA representative during new product development (NPD) and product evaluation trials (PET).
* Support compliance with ISO 9001:2015, EMS 14001:2015, and FSC Chain of Custody standards.
* Play a senior role in the QA team, stepping up to lead in the Quality Manager's absence.
About you:
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and root cause analysis.
* Knowledge of 'right first time' (RFT) and 'on time in full' (OTIF) metrics.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Excellent communication skills and a positive, problem-solving attitude.
* Working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and internal auditing.
* Quality assurance training to level 3 certification (Chartered Quality Institute preferred) would be beneficial, as would Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, however this is not essential.
