About the role: Are you a dedicated, experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take on a more dynamic role? We are looking for a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant, welcoming school community in Enfield. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners in a nurturing environment that prioritises personal growth and outdoor learning. As our HLTA, you will support and cover classes primarily in Reception and Year 1. You'll be assisting teachers on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and taking a leading role on Thursdays and Fridays. Although no formal planning is required, we're seeking someone proactive who can step in with light planning if needed. You will be a key figure in the classroom, ensuring our students receive high-quality teaching and learning experiences that support their individual needs and goals.

Application Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Experience supporting Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 children.
• Ability to confidently lead a classroom and engage children in the learning process.
• A nurturing approach, aligned with our school's caring ethos and moral values.
• Passion for creating a positive learning environment that celebrates each child's unique strengths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons that inspire young minds.
• Lead classes confidently on Thursdays and Fridays, ensuring a smooth continuation of learning.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where each child feels valued and motivated.
• Support students with a range of abilities, adapting activities to suit different learning needs.
