Level 3 Teaching Assistant - ASAP Start

Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to join their team in supporting lower Key Stage students in a Primary school setting. Working in a Primary setting you will be tasked with supporting a range of pupils in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with the school's class teachers as well as their learning support department to ensure that all pupils are working to their full potential and are being well cared for. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in supporting education.

This role is a mix of full-time and part-time, starting in the next academic year.

Salary: £12.90 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

Working alongside the class teacher to ensure all students, including those with different SEN and complex conditions, can access lesson resources.
Supporting children during playtime to monitor behaviour and support play to enhance children's social and motor development.
Encouraging and maintaining good classroom behaviour and minimising disruptions.
Creating a comfortable learning environment.
Ensuring students are engaged in the class and keeping on track with work.
Providing 1:1 and group intervention support

Experience:

Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor (preferred)
Qualifications:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
Criminal Clearance:

Updated Child Workforce DBS (required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
