As a Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with the Head of Business Development and the Business Development Executive to support and deliver effective marketing strategies. This varied role involves digital marketing, content creation, and event support.
Location: Yeovil, Somerset, with travel to all office locations
Salary: Circa £23,000+ DOE
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing both digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
- Manage and update the company's website and social media channels.
- Create marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and email campaigns.
- Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Support the organisation of events such as seminars, webinars, and networking activities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and new opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with the legal teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with business goals.
- Work with the Head of People, Welfare & Culture to create marketing materials for recruitment and internal projects.
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree or qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field (desirable).
- Previous experience in marketing, social media management, and digital marketing.
- Skilled in content creation (e.g., blogs, social media posts).
- Basic understanding of SEO and website management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for design and branding; new ideas are encouraged!
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and design tools (e.g., InDesign, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite).
