Forklift Driver - Counterbalance

Hours: 8:00am - 16:00pm

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Temporary contract (end of September)

Location: Basildon, Essex

Pay:£13.00 per hour/ weekly pay for you.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled forklift driver to support our client in peak based over in Basildon.

Job specification:

• Lifting and moving boxes into store room.
• Order picking and preparation.
• working alone under the supervision and guidance of management directly - training will be provided and full induction given.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift.
• Stock rotation - training provided accordingly.
• Load and unload stock from UK sized pallets within the storage areas.
• Manually load & unload products by hand.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks and duties as directed by your line manager.

Person specification:

• Experience of working within a warehouse or a production environment.
• valid & in date Counterbalance Forklift certificate.
• Be familiar with basic Health & Safety and storage safety knowledge.
• Standard speaking of English and basic communication skills.
• Good eye for detail and accuracy.
• Read manifest sheets and orders.
• Heavy lifting can be involved - candidates who apply must be fit and able to load and unload heavy goods.
