Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a talented paralegal with a passion for Court of Protection and Wealth Protection to join our Wealth Protection team reporting to our Wealth Protection Partner/Head of Court of Protection. expansion is evident through our recent opening of our London and Chester offices.

This is a full-time position based at our Chester office. This is a fantastic opportunity with a well-established firm that offers excellent training and career prospects. We envisage that the successful candidate in this role could potentially secure a Training Contract/SQE Contract after 12 months of service. This will be dependent on performance and business need.

Key Responsibilities:Liaison with clients and third parties to include taking initial instructionsPrepare HMRC and Court documentationAssist with client satisfaction and billingMaintaining estate accounts and general client budgets with accuracy and attention to detailDocument control - maintaining accurate records and files on our case management systemBe understanding and act in a sensitive and sympathetic mannerPaying invoices and processing financial transactions on behalf of clientsBe responsible for recording all time on the file and documenting work undertakenEnsuring compliance with file managementPromote the business, seeking opportunities to cross-refer opportunities

Key Skills:Legal experience as a Paralegal is advantageous but not essentialDemonstrate a passion for Court of Protection and Wealth ProtectionEstate administration experienceA strong academic backgroundStrong IT skills including MS Word and ExcelExcellent communication skillsTeam player, with the ability to be self-motivated and professionalExcellent analytical and organisational skillsAbility to use own initiativeOrganised and able to comply with deadlines
