Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in student admissions and administration? Do you have good organisational skills with excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on exceptional customer service? If so, Signature Recruitment are seeking a Student Admissions Administrator to join our client, a prestigious London University. This full-time, temporary assignment has an immediate start and will run for two months. It is offered on a hybrid working arrangement with three days based on campus, including a Wednesday and two days homeworking.

As a Student Admissions Administrator, you will play a crucial role supporting the Admissions Team in the day-to-day organisation and administration of applications, interviews and registrations. You will be processing applications, checking requirements, resolving queries and issues, and submitting the offers. This will contribute to the smooth running of the admission and interview process for the University.

Student Admissions Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as key point of contact for prospective students, dealing with enquiries and providing advice, information and guidance as appropriate
  • Overseeing the ongoing student journey from application to registration, which includes processing references, dealing with queries regarding qualifications, English language, fee status and funding, producing letters of application and registration
  • Circulating information concerning studentships, scholarships and seminars to prospective and current students as well as staff
  • Assisting with the management of Education web pages, the Buddy Scheme and other social activities and events
  • Ensuring that student files and records are accurately completed and updated on the University database
  • Other ad hoc duties to support the Admissions Team and wider Uinversity

Student Admissions Officer Key Skills:

  • A background in education or admissions, with a personable, proactive and strong customer service approach
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational, time management and multitasking abilities with a high attention to detail
  • Highly proficient IT skills - good working knowledge of The Microsoft Suite in particular, Excel and VLOOKUP
