We are actively hiring for a Production Operative to join a successful Food Manufacturer based in Colchester.

This role is assisting with the running of a fast moving production line, with focus on Quality Control, minimal stoppages and hold ups.

The successful candidates will be working within different departments include;

The Kitchen
Packing Line
Production Line
Storage and WarehousingHours and pay:
Monday to Friday - 10am - 6pm
£11.44
On site parking

Temp to perm for the right candidate

Duties of the Production Operative will include;

Working on various parts of the production line- from loading, to checking, to unloading
Ensuring smooth running of production at all times
Taking responsibility and ownership of hygiene and housekeeping at all times
Ensuring you are compliant with legal and company food hygiene standards
Assisting in the warehouse and within dispatch as required
The ideal Production Operative;

Previous experience in a FMCG environment
Previous experience within Food Manufacturing would be an advantage
Flexible approach to working hours

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work overtime
