Anti Social Behaviour Team Leader - The Role:

We are currently seeking an Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Team Leader. This is a fixed term position for a period of 12 months.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operational day to day delivery of the Housing ASB service to include ASB services and tenancy support.

There may be a requirement to work at other locations within Cheltenham to meet the

needs of the business. You will need use of a car for work purposes

Anti Social Behaviour Team Leader – Key Responsibilities:

- To effectively recruit, induct, supervise, train, appraise and develop team members to meet the objectives set, including monthly 1:1 meetings and annual Individual Performance and Development Reviews

- Adopt a risk assessment approach to effectively manage the ASB and tenancy support

team, to plan and oversee its operational performance to deliver high quality services

- To work closely with the Tenancy Services Manager to support the development and

delivery of ASB and support to improve tenancy sustainability quality of life, maximise

value for money, link to the regeneration of neighbourhoods and meet tenant and

community needs

- Develop a balanced response to managing ASB in the community to include the

adoption of preventative and restorative approaches alongside legal remedies

- To authorise court proceedings and other legal remedies and ensure that risks are

effectively managed to ensure positive outcomes

- To positively represent CBC at Cheltenham wide partnerships and develop effective

relationships with key stakeholders

Anti Social Behaviour Team Leader – You:

- Educated to degree level and/or relevant experience

- Experience of delivering ASB and support services to vulnerable tenants with complex

needs

- Ability to control high workloads and competing priorities

- Well-developed communication skills with a wide range of audiences

- Strong leadership, interpersonal and motivational skills

- Excellent relationship builder

- Ability to work effectively with tenants, leaseholders, staff, peers, partners and

contractors

- Commitment to continuing professional development

- Experience gained from working in a range of social housing / public sector

contexts

- Knowledge and experience of coaching and mentoring

- Experience of managing budgets to deliver services
