Job Role, Duties & Responsibilities

Produce monthly management accounts including profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flows

Creating the annual budget and periodic forecasting
-
Ongoing review of cash flow and production of forecasts
-
VAT Returns
-
Preparation of quarterly board packs including commentary as well as financial information
-
Liaising with senior members of staff regarding their cost centres and variance analysis
-
Monthly stocktake
-
Preparation of accruals and prepayments as well as maintenance of fixed asset registers and HP schedules.

Ensuring intercompany transactions are balanced
-
Handling and resolving financial queries.

Liaising with external auditors in regards to Year End accounts and assisting them with any queries they should have.

Control account reconciliations
