Building Services Engineer - Colchester - 40k

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Building Services Engineer to join a high-profile commercial office site in Colchester. This is a chance to work for one of the biggest FM companies in the world on one of their longest standing contracts. This role will provide a stable working environment with a strong focus on service delivery and client interaction.

The successful applicant will be required to work a standard Mon - Fri 40 hour week as part of the onsite facilities team. You will have plenty of overtime opportunities to get involved with as well as some basic projects works

As part of the role you will be carrying out a range of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks including:

* Tap temperature checks

* Water flushing

* Lighting inspections

* BMS system monitoring

* Fire alarm test

* Emergency light tests

* FCU servicing

* Also Supporting wider facilities operations

* Assisting with office moves

* Basic administrative duties

Personal Specification

* Ideally electrically biased, but strong all-round building services or fabric engineers will be considered

* Confident in a client-facing role, with a professional and friendly approach

* Flexible attitude - happy to assist with both technical and non-technical tasks as part of a close-knit on-site team

* Call-out rota may be introduced, though there have been no call-outs in the past two years
