Reed Financial Services are seeking an experienced Consumer Duty Project Manager to oversee the implementation and adherence to Consumer Duty regulations within a partnering, nationwide Financial Services Firm. This role is crucial for managing projects related to regulatory compliance and ensuring that consumer protection measures are effectively integrated into their business operations.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, defining scope, goals, and deliverables in line with Consumer Duty objectives.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project milestones are met and resources are adequately assigned.
  • Overcome obstacles independently, problem-solving to find resolutions to issues, and escalate major concerns to the Project Sponsor.
  • Document key decisions, establish deadlines, and chase actions for projects.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines using appropriate tools and constantly monitor progress.
  • Manage change to plans, ensuring effective communication to all stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify areas for improvement, and manage the testing and rollout of systems as part of the project.
  • Develop and deliver training programs related to Consumer Duty and support the development of internal competencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the financial services or regulatory compliance sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing regulatory compliance projects.
  • Strong understanding of Consumer Duty regulations and their implications.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
