The Accounts Assistant will provide critical support in the accounting and finance department of a reputable not-for-profit organisation, ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed. Your time will be spent on both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Description

• Assisting with accounts payable and receivable.
• Processing invoices and reconciling bank transactions.
• Supporting the monthly payroll process.
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial reports.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry.
• Complying with financial policies and procedures.
• Supporting annual audit processes.
• Ad hoc financial duties as required.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• A qualification in accounting or finance would help or Qualified by Experience
• Experience working with accounting softwares.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in work.
• A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent numerical skills and the ability to work with complex financial data.
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
