About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Business Studies Teacher with a strong emphasis on Economics to join a reputable school in Congleton. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring all students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies and Economics to students at various levels.
Assess, record, and report on the development and progress of students.
Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies.
Support and motivate students to achieve their academic goals.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in department meetings and professional development opportunities.
Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and events.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at secondary school level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Desirable:

Experience in delivering GCSE and A-Level Business Studies and Economics.
Familiarity with the UK curriculum and examination boards.
